National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS)
Designed to promote apprenticeship training by providing financial incentives to employers and candidates alike. Businesses gain a competitive edge by having access to practical, skilled workers, while candidates are paid to learn in real-world environments.
National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS)
A long-term program focused on offering candidates hands-on technical training. With NATS, apprentices develop a deep understanding of their chosen field, preparing them for advanced roles in their careers.
Learn & Earn Industry Integrated Learning Program (IITP)
Tailored to industry needs, this program combines classroom education with practical, on-the-job training. It creates a seamless pathway for individuals to gain professional experience while pursuing formal education.
Work Integrated Learning Program (WILP)
An innovative solution for businesses seeking to upskill their workforce without disrupting operations. Employees learn and apply new skills in real-time, driving both personal and organizational growth.
Comparision of NATS & NAPS
- Governing Body: NAPS (MSDE) - NSDC & SSC / NATS (MoE) - BOAT
- Tenure: 6-12 months (NAPS) / 1 year (NATS)
- Eligibility: NAPS (5th pass, no PF) / NATS (Diploma, within 3 years)
- Curriculum: As per job role (NAPS) / Chosen by org. (NATS)

The Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) introduces a groundbreaking "Learn and Earn" scheme, allowing institutes with strong industry ties to offer technical diploma courses. Aligned with the New Education Policy, MSBTE emphasizes experiential learning, developing the Learn and Earn Scheme to enhance youth employability. This initiative provides on-the-job training alongside formal education, without any government funding or financial contribution from student trainees.

Overview :
A government-approved scheme facilitating a seamless connection between MSBTE education and industry demands. -
Age Range :
Available for students between 18 to 35 years old -
Bridging Education-Industry Gap :
Under this scheme, students gain invaluable On-the-Job Training (OJT), aligning education with practical industry experience. -
Selection Process :
A selection process will be in place to choose eligible candidates. -
Training Format:
- On-the-Job Training (OJT) : Students will undergo 8 hours of practical training per day.
- Training Days : OJT will be conducted 6 days a week.
- Theoretical Training : Theoretical training will be provided through online modes.
